A++++ Perfectionism



“Perfectionism is a trait that makes life an endless report card on accomplishments or looks. When healthy, it can be self-motivating and drive you to overcome adversity and achieve success. When unhealthy, it can be a fast and enduring track to unhappiness.” (psychology today)


Signs you are a perfectionist:


1. You set unrealistically high expectations for yourself or others.

2. You are quick to find fault and critical of mistakes.

3. You tend to procrastinate for fear of failure.

4. You disregard compliments and don’t celebrate your success.



Each day we will discuss a perfectionism component and when the quality is valuable and when it can lead to destructive behavior and how to change.
